Finding hope in this dark world is hard. That's why so many of us put our hope in everything but the Lord Jesus Christ. We search for hope in places that only leave us more void than when we started.
The Bible tells us to always be ready to give an answer of where your hope comes from. For years, I didn't understand what that meant. Give an answer to something I don't have? What are you talking about?
But when I encountered Jesus Christ, everything changed. My life is not easy since turning to Jesus, but it is so much better. The hopelessness I once felt is gone because I continue to find hope in him.
My worst days with him are better than my best days without him. I am now able to share the hope that I find through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I want to encourage you today that if you are struggling, lay your feelings at the feet of Jesus. Let him fill you with a hope that can only come from him.
When you put your hope in Jesus Christ, there is nothing that can take it away. Give him a try. He will change your life if you let him!
Oh and don't forget to pray today, Jesus is eager to hear from you!
1 Peter 3:15 NLT Instead , you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
